Assembly (Shank Mounting)

Secure frame
to stands
before
mounting
shanks
1. Position SubTiller mainframe
on sturdy stands, about 35”
high on hard level surface.
Clamp frame to stands to
stabilize.
2. Consult row spacing pages
and mark out rows on back
bars.
3. Center
(a) (AM7550)
6 x 4,
shank mounts on row marks.
4. Place
(b) (AM7551)
mounting
clamp bracket, 6 x 4 on
toolbar and insert top

1”-8 x 3-1/2” grade
8, hex capscrews. Start
(d)
(BP3275)
1”-8, grade 8, hex
nuts on top bolts. Repeat with
bottom bolts.
5. Tighten top and bottom 1”
hex nuts evenly. The space
between clamp and bracket
should be even top and bottom.
6. Position
(e) (AM7553)
reinforced shank into mount.
Insert
(f) (BP3256)
1”-8 x 5”,
hex cap screw into top hole.
Place
(g) (BP3020)
1” lock
washer and
(h) (BP3019)
1”-8 grade 2 hex nut on bolt.
Do not tighten until bottom
bolt is inserted.
