Troubleshooting
Configuration errors and warnings
The BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter cannot connect
to the BlackBerry Administration Service
Possible cause
If you configured Windows Internet Explorer to use a proxy server by default, the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter might
not be able to connect to the BlackBerry Administration Service.
Possible solution
To configure the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter to override the proxy server that you configured, in the
EnterpriseTransporter.exe.config file, add the following text inside the <configuration> tags:
<system.net>
<defaultProxy>
<proxy usesystemdefault = "false" />
</defaultProxy>
</system.net>
Configuration file error
Description
This message appears when the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter configuration file (EnterpriseTransporter.exe.config)
contains invalid information.
Possible solution
Try performing the following actions:
• Read the additional information that is displayed with the error message to determine the problem.
