• Make sure that the Direct Connect service is registered on your BlackBerry smartphone.
• Make sure that your smartphone is connected to the mobile network.
• If you are trying to make a Direct Connect call, make sure that the Direct Connect number is correct.
• If you are not able to receive Direct Connect calls from a contact or a Direct Connect number, make sure that the

contact or Direct Connect number is not on your blocked caller list.

The PTT button doesn't work as expected

Make sure that the PTT button is assigned to the correct application. Set the PTT button to open the Contacts application
or Call logs, call a Direct Connect number or DC Group, redial the last Direct Connect number or DC Group, or turn off your
smartphone.
