OPERATIONAL CHECK
BUCKET TEST
It is highly unlikely
that your Bionizer will not generate
ions. Should there be any doubt the following quick check
will confirm if the unit is working or not.
1. Put 10cm of pool water in a plastic container or bucket.
2. Remove the BioPod Cartridge from the pipeline and
stand vertically into the water in the bucket. The water
level should be just below the connection bolts.
3. Turn on the Bionizer and ionize the water for several
minutes.
4. Note the
self clean
light glowing and the
screen
display
. This demonstrates that the unit is working.
5. After several minutes in ionize mode use the
copper
test kit
to check the water in the bucket. It should show
copper ions are now present in the water.
`
6. If there are no ions present in the water, repeat the
same test, but using fresh tap water instead. Dissolve
around 1 teaspoon of table salt into the water before
doing the bucket test.
7. If there are still no ions present in the water, see Point 3
of the
Bionizer Support Pages
on page 26 before
calling your Bionizer distributor / supplier.
8. If you have been adhering to the
simple pool regimen
that we suggest then any problems are rare and also
easily rectified.
