5.8.14 Storage days
DESCRIPTION

USE BY DD. Numeric data item
from 0 to 999 Identifier of the number of the
product's "use by" days. It is added
to the production date so as to
calculate the expiry date.

This function can be accessed in three different ways:

A list of the PLUs in the machine will appear. After you have selected
the required PLU, press to access a mask containing all
the items that concern the PLU. Use the up and down arrows to scroll
through all the items until the EXPIRY DATE item is highlighted. Now
press to enter or change the "use by" days. Press
(SAVE) to memorize the newly entered value in the PLU.
Only in this way will you be able to enter a number that will
calculate the expiry date in relation to the production date.
The "use by" days can only be entered or modified if processing of
the PLU has not yet begun. If it is being processed, the operator must
first make a request to reset the totals of that PLU.
