MAINTENANCE
Warning
•
Shut down the machine and cut off the power supply for more than 5 minutes
before cleaning, maintaining or servicing the unit.
•
Do not flush or rinse the air conditioner under any circumstances.
•
Volatile liquid (e.g. thinner or gasoline) will damage the air conditioner. Only use
a soft dry cloth or wet cloth dipped with diluted, mild detergent to clean the air
conditioner.
•
Clean the filter screen regularly to avoid dust build-up which will affect the filter
screen effectiveness and performance of the unit. Check that the filter screen is
dry before reinstalling it as soon as possible.
•
After removing the filter screen, do not touch the fins of the indoor unit.

•
Gently wipe the surface of the indoor unit with a damp cloth.
Tip: Wipe regularly to keep air conditioner clean and in good appearance.
Clean the
Filter
•
After removing the filter screen, remove and inspect the HEPA filters. If the HEPA
filters are dirty, replace the HEPA filters before reinstalling the filter screens.
Tip: Clean the filter regularly to ensure clean, healthy and efficient operation of the air conditioner.
HEPA filters should be replaced at least every 6 months.
Service and
Maintenance
•
If the air conditioner will not be used for an extended period, remove the batter
-
ies from the remote controller and also disconnect the power supply from the air
conditioner.
•
To use the air conditioner after being off for an extended period of time:
1. Clean the unit and filter screen.
2. Check for blockage and obstruction at the air inlet and outlet of indoor and
outdoor units, and also drainage hose.
3. Install new batteries on the remote controller and reconnect the power
supply.
