TEST OPERATION
Test Run Instruction
1. Turn on the power supply.
2. Press the ON/OFF button on the remote controller to turn on the air conditioner.
3. Press the Mode button to switch between COOL and HEAT (Heat Pump models only).
In each mode set as below:
COOL-Set it to the lowest temperature available.
HEAT-Set it to the highest temperature available.
4. Run for about 8 minutes in each mode and check that all functions run properly and responds to
the remote controller. At a minimum check:
4.1 If the outlet air temperature is cool in cool mode and hot in heat mode (heat pump only).
4.2 If the water drains properly from the drainage hose.
4.3 If the louver and deflectors (optional) operate properly.
5. Observe the test run state of the air conditioner for at least 30 minutes.
6. After a successful test run, return to the normal settings and press the ON/OFF button on the
remote controller to turn off the unit.
7. Demonstrate to the user how to use the air conditioner and inform the user to read the wireless
remote control manual before using the unit.
8. Brief the user on the need for regular service and maintenance.
Note:
If the ambient temperature is outside of the operating range (refer to
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
section) and the
COOL or HEAT mode (heat pump models only) does not function, lift the front panel and use the emergency button to run
in COOL or HEAT mode. Refer to the emergency button operation instructions.
