2

INDOOR UNIT INSTALLATION

2.1 Remove the mounting plate from the back of indoor unit.

2.2 Ensure the minimum installation dimension requirements in Step 1 are met. Using a level, posi

-

tion the mounting plate perfectly horizontal.

2.3 Mark the screw hole positions on the wall.

2.4 Remove mounting plate and drill holes at the marked screw hole positions.

2.5 Indoor unit should be out of reach of children.

2.6 Insert wall anchors into the drilled screw holes, then fasten the mounting plate with screws.

Drill a hole in the wall for refrigerant piping, condensate hose, and connecting cables.

3.1 Determine the location of the hole based on the position of the mounting plate.

3.2 The hole should be at least 2-3/4 inch (70mm) diameter and angled downwards towards the

exterior wall to facilitate drainage (refer to drawing below).

3.3 Fit the wall sleeve and wall sleeve cover (both are optional parts) to protect the connection

parts.

Caution:

When drilling the hole, take care to avoid wires, plumbing and other sensitive components behind the wall.
