OUTDOOR UNIT INSTALLATION
Caution:
Before connecting the wires of indoor and outdoor units ensure the power is off.
4.1 Remove wiring cover.
4.2 Unscrew the cable clamp.
4.3 Refer to the wiring diagram placed inside the wiring cover. Connect the 4 wires of the cable to
the corresponding terminals. Check that all the wires are connected securely.
4.4 Replace the cable clamp and wiring cover.
5.1 Remove the valve cover.
5.2 Remove the protective cap on each valve port. Check that valves are clean.
5.3 Remove the plastic cover in the pipe ports and check that the ports are clean.
5.4 Fit the flare of the pipe into the valve port. Screw the pipe flare nut onto the valve port by hand.
5.5 Use a wrench to hold the body of the valve port and a torque wrench to tighten the flare nut.
Refer to the Torque Parameters table on the
INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
section for correct
torque to tighten the flare nut.
