It may be necessary to program this parameter in case of a maintenance on
the AKM board rather than on the detection electrode or the burner, in the
case where, after the operation, the combustion values did not fall within
predetermined values.
5.24 SERVICING
Periodic maintenance is an “obligation” required by law and/or
under warranty it is essential to the safety, of the boiler.
It allows for the reduction of consumption, polluting emissions and keeping
the product reliable over time.
Before commencing any maintenance operations:
- Carry out the analysis of the combustion products to check the operating
status of the boiler, then cut off the electrical supply setting the system’s
main switch to “off”
- Turn off the Gas and water taps of the heating and domestic hot water
system.
To ensure product characteristics and efficiency remain intact and to
comply with prescriptions of current regulations, it is necessary to render
the appliance to systematic checks at regular intervals.
When carrying out maintenance work, observe the instructions given in
chapter “ 1 WARNINGS AND SAFETY”.
Annual Service means the following tasks:

Remove the burner and clear any oxidation present in the burner

Remove any scale from within the Primary heat exchanger;

Replace the burner

Use a new seal each time”

Checking electrodes. When replacing the electrodes it is
necessary to replace also the relative sealing gasket.

Check and clean the condensate drainage pipes and trap;
-
Check the external and internal appearance of the boiler
-
Check the ignition, switch-off and operation of the appliance, in
both domestic water mode and heating mode
-
Check the seals on the gas and water couplings and pipes
-
Check gas consumption at maximum and minimum output;
-
Checking the position of the ignition-flame detection glow plug
-
Check the gas failure safety device.

Check & adjust the dosage of inhibitor in the attached system
-
Remove and clean the systems magnetic filter
-
Checking of the flue terminal for obstructions
-
Checking of the over pressure device
After carrying out the maintenance operations analysis of
the combustion products needs to be carried out to make
sure it is operating correctly.
In case where, after the replacement of the electronic board or the
maintenance of the detection electrode or the burner, the combustion
analysis would restore out of tolerance values, it may be necessary to
take action on the parameter COMBUSTION OFFSET as described
in the section
“5.23 Parameters combustion check”
.
Do not clean the appliance or its parts with inflammable substances
Do not clean panels, painted parts and plastic parts with paint thinner.
Panel cleaning must only be carried out with soapy water.

failure to carry out the requirements of service warranty is
