Movements Tab
The Movements button lets you select how the table
moves in response to the Return-To-Level, Flex, and
Chair buttons on the hand pendant.
The amount of movement for each articulation is
preset in four increments numbered from 0 to 3
(Figure 6-16).
0 = Continuous. When you press the hand pendant
button for the function, the first section of the
table will move so long as the button is held or
until the section is at the limit for that
articulation. The second action in the
articulation begins automatically when the first
action is completed. The action will continue so
long as the button is held or until the action
reaches its preset limit, etc.
1 = Holding the button moves the table sections in 5-
degree increments. After the final section in the
articulation has moved 5 degrees, the first
section will move an additional 5 degrees, etc.
2 = Holding the button moves the table sections in
10-degree increments. After the final section in
the articulation has moved 10 degrees, the first
section will move an additional 10 degrees, etc.
3 = Holding the button moves the table sections in
20-degree increments. After the final section in
the articulation has moved 20 degrees, the first
section will move an additional 20 degrees, etc.
For example, if you have the Flex Motion parameters
set to 1 and hold the Flex button:
•
The back will lower 5 degrees (Trendelenburg)
and stop.
•
The seat will lower (reverse Trendelenburg) 5
degrees and stop.
•
The legs will lower (reverse Trendelenburg) 5
degrees and stop.
•
The back will lower an additional 5 degrees
(Trendelenburg) and stop.
•
The seat will lower an additional 5 degrees
(reverse Trendelenburg) and stop.
•
The leg section will lower 5 degrees (reverse
Trendelenburg) and stop.
•
Etc.
If you release the button before the articulation has
reached its (5-, 10- or 20-degree) limit, then push and
hold the button again, the motion will resume from
where it left off and continue until it reaches the
sequence limit.
Do this to set the movements parameters:
1. Click on the ( 6 ) arrow to the right of the
“Level” mode windows.

) to the right of the
“Flex Mode” window.

A drop down menu will appear.
4. Click on one of the choices to select it.

The choice selected will appear in the
window next to the (
6 ) arrow.
5. Click the down arrow (

) to the right of the
“Chair Mode” window.

A drop down menu will appear.
6. Click on one of the choices to select it.

The choice selected will appear in the
window next to the (

) arrow.
7. Click on the “Set” button to save your selections.
NOTE
NOTE — After saving the changes for
a parameter to one CPU, change CPUs
and save the same changes to the other
CPU. Alternatively, you can use the
“Save to Other CPU” under the file
menu.
