Preparation for installation

Installation instructions

Brief overview of the installation

The installation is done in the following steps:

Remove the lower section.

Remove the capillary trap.

Tighten up the lever of the fastening mechanism.

Remove the bracket.

Determine the exact installation location.

Make the installation cut-out here.

Install the brackets.

Mount the device.

Secure the device.

For the BLB 60 FLE and BLB 90 FLE:
Connect the control cable from the external fan.

When using a wall box or a window contact switch:
connect the cable.

When in recirculated air or hybrid mode:
insert the filter.

When in exhausted air or hybrid mode:
attach the exhaust pipe.

Plug in the plug for the power supply.

Attach the remaining parts.

Prepare the plug socket for the power supply

DANGER

Lethal electric shock caused by
improper connection.

Working on the power supply may
only be done by qualified, trained
electricians adhering to the country-
specific regulations and standards
(e.g. in Germany DIN 57100 / VDE
0100, part 701).

DANGER

Danger, for example of a fatal electric
shock by faults caused by an
inaccessible plug socket.

Ensure that the power plug is freely
accessible so that you can easily
and simply isolate the device from
the power supply in an emergency.

If the plug socket is not easily
accessible, an all-pole isolating
device (with a contact gap of at least
3 mm) must be provided on-site.

Only allow the required plug socket to be installed
by a qualified electrician.

Ensure that a plug socket is installed at a
maximum separation distance of 1.2 metres.

Make sure that the building electrical supply is
properly earthed.

Make sure that the power supply voltage meets the
value on the ratings plate on the inside of the
device.

Ensure that the connection to the power supply is
made after the device is installed.
