Operating instructions

Troubleshooting

DANGER

Fatal electric shock due to improperly
carried out repairs.

Ensure that all repairs are carried out
by the manufacturer or by
authorised, specialised personnel.

Fault

Possible cause

Remedy

No power supply.

Check that the all-pole mains switch is
turned on.

Switch the mains switch on.

Fan and lighting do not
work.

The fuse may have been tripped or is
defective.

Check to see if the fuse has tripped.

When you use electric circuit breakers, turn
the circuit breaker on again.

For other types of fuse, consult a qualified
electrician.

The extractor hood is not switched on.

Check all possible power levels.

See Turning on the ventilation function on
page 13.

The fan does not work.

The extractor hood is connected to a
window contact switch and the window
is closed.

Open the window.

BLB 60 FLE/90 FLE:
External fan does not
function.

No power supply or connecting cable is
not plugged in or connected.
