Wireless Keys on BPI
If this option is enabled, Key reader no.16 will be reserved for the remote
control of the system by Wireless keys.
IMPORTANT
In order
to guarantee proper functioning of the Control panel the
Wireless Keys on BPI option of the Control panel must be programmed as per
the Keyfobs on BPI
option of the Interface (refer to “Keyfobs on BPI” in the
“PROGRAMMING THE INTERFACE ” section).

Address no. 16 cannot be assigned to a key reader. If a key reader already
occupies Address no. 16, its Address mus be changed. If no Address is
available the surplus key reader must be disconnected from the Control panel
BPI Bus. All programming relevant to the key reader with the new Address
must be checked.
The program will make the following changes.
Key reader

will be reserved for Wireless Keys,

Operating principles of Wireless Keys on BPI
The Wireless Keys on BPI operate in the same way as Digital Keys, except for
the following.
Wireless Keys cannot request
Type B
arming mode;
W ireless Keys cannot make
Stop Alarm
requests.
W ireless Keys can operate with
Key reader no.16
only.
Ø
The row indicated by the
RED
Spot for
Key reader no.16
shows the partitions
that can be controlled by the Wireless Keys.
Ø
The row indicated by the
YELLOW
Spot
for
Key reader no.16
shows the
partitions that will be armed or disarmed when the Partitioning button on the
Wireless Key is pressed.
Ø
The row indicated by the
GREEN
Spot is irrelevant for Wireless Keys.
False Keys (i.e. Wireless Keys that have not been enrolled or programmed)
cannot perform any operations on the Control panel, however, they will not
generate the
False Key on BPI KEY reader
event.
Wireless keys that control more than one system must be
