Preparing the Keypad
Either an
OmniaTAST-R
or
MIA-S
keypad fitted with
BPI-LINK
cable (sepa-
rate accessory items) can be used.
Read the following instructions carefully (refer to the figure on page 59 or 60).
1 Open the Keypad flip.
2 Unscrew the screws

, then remove the frontplate.
3 Insert the free end
of the
BPI-LINK
into the slot

4 Complete the wiring of the
BPI-LINK
to the terminal board

BPI Interfacing
Terminals for connection to the BPI bus of the Control panels:

+ = positive power terminal of the Interface
Ø
– = negative power terminal of the Interface

The BPI Interfacing Level must match the BPI bus Level of the Control panel.
Refer to the Control panel manual for the operating level of its BPI bus. Refer to
“Interface BPI Level” for Instructions on how to select the Interface BPI Level.

Power Supply
Connect terminals

respectively to the positive and negative of 12 V
- 90 mA minimum power supply.

These terminals should be connected
ONLY
when using the
Universal Inter-
facing
terminal board. Do not connect these terminals when using the BPI
Interfacing terminal board, as it will be powered by the BPI bus of the Control
Panel, through terminals
