Auxiliary Signals on BPI
If this option is enabled, zones 17, 18, 19 and 20 of Input Expander no.01 will be
reserved for the Auxiliary Signals of Wireless devices.
IMPORTANT
In order
to guarantee proper functioning of the Control panel the
Auxiliary Signals on BPI option of the Control panel must be programmed as
per the Auxiliary Signals on BPI
option of the Interface (refer to “Auxiliary
Signals on BPI” in the “PROGRAMMING THE INTERFACE ” section).

and the Addresses shown under
‘Auxiliary Signals on BPI’
in Table 3 (page 82) cannot be assigned to Input Expanders. If an Input Ex-
pander already occupies one of these Addresses, its Address must be changed.
If the remaining Addresses are insufficient, the surplus Input Expanders must
be disconnected from the Control panel BPI Bus. All programming relevant to
the Zones of Input Expanders with new Addresses must be checked.
The program will make the following changes.
Input Expander no. 01 will be reserved for Auxiliary Signals: Low Battery on
W ireless Sensors; Missing Wireless Sensors; Jamming; Panic by Wireless
Key.
The Input Expanders shown in the
Auxiliary signals on BPI
column in Table
3 will be reserved for Wireless Sensors.
Zones no. 17, 18, 19 and 20 are not included in the table, as they are reserved
for Auxiliary signals. Therefore, Zones reserved for Wireless Sensors start
from no. 21.
Partition no. 8 will be reserved for Auxiliary Signals.
Partition no. 8 cannot be selected, as it is reserved for Auxiliary Signals. The
