Ensure that mechanical interlocks of the door, which are not relevant for
operation with the drive, are not in operation.
When using door panels, the regional wind loads must be taken into ac-
count (EN 13241-1).
The sensitive safety shutdown of the drive reacts to uneven door travel
by switching off and reversing the motor.
The self-locking motor prevents the door from opening automatically. As
protection against greater loads, such as e.g. forced opening, an electric
lock (magnetic centre lock) or similar must also be installed.

CAUTION
An unsafe foundation can cause damage!
A loss of stability of the drive reduces the safety of the entire system. An unsa-
fe foundation can lead to the drive tipping over / breaking out or sinking. This
can cause personal injury and damage to property.
SAFETY INSTRUCTION FOR HAZARD AVOIDANCE
The ground for mounting the drive must be firm, stable and frost-free.
The foundation must be of sufficient size to prevent it from erupting. For
the required dimensions, refer to the manufacturer's dimensional spe-
cifications.
The drive must be correctly aligned with the door run will be.
The foundation must be sufficiently hardened before mounting the
drive!
For a Premium Slider 500 / 800 / 800i, a concrete foundation of at least 550 x
300 mm, each at a frost-free depth (in Germany = min. 80 cm deep), is requi-
red.
Make sure that the foundations are of sufficient size so that the material does
not break out when drilling the fixing holes. For the required dimensions, refer
to the manufacturer's dimensional specifications.
The foundations or brackets should be slightly higher than the surrounding ni-
veau and must be level so that the drive can be mounted without distortion.
