PERATION
The application is operated by use of the controller unit only (see controller manual). The
only exception from this is the reset (acknowledgment) of errors by use of the optocoupler
input "Reset" within X99AB plug-in connector.
In this chapter we do not describe the principles of operation itself, but the monitoring
functions and display elements that the appliance has.
8.1 Safety regulations
8.2 Monitoring functions and their messages
The unit’s monitoring functions are divided into two groups. First group is the "infeed mod-
ule monitoring functions" see
Z figure 4 – on page 29. Second group is the "motor-side
power module monitoring functions". This partitioning reflects the appliance’s internal
construction.

The following may occur , if you do not observe this warning information:

Report immediately any situation that might lead to a deterioration of security.
Before demounting safety devices for purposes such as commissioning or repair jobs, set the
machine or plant out of service strictly according to the regulations.
Re-mount the safety devices again, and make sure they are put into operation immediately
after commissioning or repairs are completed.
NOTE
The monitoring functions are active only when the +24V-supply voltage (X99A) is present.
