1.1 SERVICE SCHEDULE:
Use the following HVAC service schedule as a general guideline to maintain an efficient HVAC
system.
This is recommended for “normal” operating conditions, adjust accordingly to extreme conditions.

4 amps @ 12 volts
2 amps @ 24 volts
Tubes-
inspect for obvious dents
& oil stains/dirt indicating leakage

Condenser Fins-
clean away dirt
and bugs, staighten if necessary

Moisture Indicator-
check either
remote mounted or built into the
drier
X
blue is OK while pink or white
indicates moisture presence and
replacement required
Drier Canister-
check
temperature while running
X
should be warm to touch
Filter-
replace annually or
anytime refrigerant system is
opened

Inlet (liquid) Line from Drier-
check

should be warm to touch
Refrigerant Charge Head-
check for damage & leakage

Evaporator Fins-
clean dirt, bugs
& airborne particulate

Drain Pan & Drain Hole-
clean
dirt, bugs & airborne particulate

Drain Pump (if present) & Float-
inspect for obstructions and
operation

Filters-
inspect and clean or
replace as needed

dirty filters can cause airflow
restriction and premature blower
failure
Thermostat-
check for proper
operation

Pressure Switches-
with
manifold gauges installed, check
refrigerant pressure switches for
proper operation

Water Valve-
check for proper
operation

with control panel temp setting in
full cold position, valve should be
closed
