Font: Choose the font from the list of available fonts on
your system.
Font Size: Choose the size of the font to use for this element.
Text Color: Choose the color of the text (the letters themselves).
Highlight Color: Choose the color used to highlight the text. The
highlight appears only where the text is, and it can
be transparent or semi-transparent.
Background Color: Choose the background color to use for the whole
text box. This color can be transparent or semi-
transparent.
Horizontal Alignment: Choose how to align the text horizontally.
Vertical Alignment:
Choose how to align the text vertically.
Animation Type: Choose if this text can be animated or not, and if it
is to be animated, decide if it scrolls horizontally or
vertically.
Animation Speed:
Choose the animation speed of the text in pixels per
second.
The Use Text Box Size option also appears in the media properties. This option forces
the size of the element to be the size of the bounding box.
Video/Image
The Video (or Image) subpane provides a preview of—as well as detailed information
about—a video (or image) file. You can also open the file in the default operating system
application or open the containing folder using the corresponding icons.
Slicing
The Slicing subpane allows the user to play only a certain part of the video by selecting
the start and end time. The use can either enter those times in the
Start
and
End
fields,
or use the ruler.
Effects
This section allows control of a pipeline of shader effects for this media file. These effects
include Blur, RGB offsets, and a way to flip the contents. The effects are processed in
the order in which they are displayed. Effects can be reordered by dragging them. The
effect parameters can be animated using Keyframes. For effect parameters that are either
true or false (
Invert and Non Black Only ), a value greater than 0 is considered "true."
