8. Getting started
In case obstructions block part of the screen, maximum one of the 4 gimbal sides of which the corresponding
Panel Marker has not been moved,can be left unde
fi
ned.
Upon saving of the position the user will be prompted to con
fi
rm that this is intentionally. If so, only 8 points
are used for Multi-Point Acuras. The non-de
fi
ned Gimbal Side is indicated by a cross in front of it in the
Position subtype
drop down list.
Position Subtypes which are already stored can be veri
fi
ed by selecting them. The appropriate Panel Marker
is then indicated on screen and the gimbal points to it.
If an existing Panel Marker is changed, it is required to rede
fi
ne all gimbal positions before saving the Acuras
position.
Changes to Panel Markers and/or gimbal positions of an existing Multi-Point Acuras position are only saved
and used after pressing the Save button.

ning Auto Geometry position: standard channels
Introduction
AutoGeometry is used to calculate the X and Y projector pixel coordinates of the required image corners of each channel in a display
system. This can be done by aiming your Auto Alignment Head camera to the required corner(s). For this purpose, AutoGeometry
positions must be de
fi
ned to learn XDS RACU where to look for the corners.
Choose AutoGeometry position subtype
Without Blend Zone
if there is no overlap between channels or choose
With Blend Zone
if there is overlap between channels.
It is good practice to include as much corners as possible in one position, however this depends upon the
channel size in the display. Both multiple corners of a single channel or corners of different channels are
allowed within a single AutoGeometry position.
A standard channel is a non-HUD type channel
Measuring corners in single channel setup
Consider a display system where you have a projected image consisting of one single channel. In this case four corners in total
need to be included in the set of positions to be de
fi
ned.
