Using the Menu

Menu Structure

The IQ projector has a build in "PC like" toolbar menu which allows easy acces to different parameters for setting up the projector.

The menu is activated by pressing on

, it contains 2 levels depending on the type of user:

Level 1: standard user

Level 2: advanced user

Level 2 is password protected (see Chapter

"Installation"

)

The advanced parameters are only visible when the correct password has been entered (factory password = "0000")

Menu items which are not applicable or not yet available are greyed out.

Menu Layout

A grey line gives the transition between standard and advanced parameters.

Menu1 shows the

Lamp

menu opened by an advanced user ( correct password entered).

The existence of a submenu is indicated by a white arrow,

Mode

( menu1) is a submenu.

Runtimes

is an item of the

Lamp

menu (menu1)

Three suspension points indicate that the menuitem hides a dialogbox or a textbox.

Note on the advanced items

The menus inserted in this manual are of the advanced type: all the items are visible

The menus seen by a standard user on the screen will hence not correspond with the menus in the manual i.e the advanced items

will not be visible, they will be replaced with "More..." (menu2)

Note on images

The selected item in the images used further in the manual is shown with a white arrow, this arrow does not appear on the projected
image.
