finds in your system. Click “Cancel” . Continue to click “Cancel”
until Windows stops launching the “Found New Hardware Wizard
- Video Controller”. Again, please be patient as Windows will
again scan its library of Plug-and-Play device drivers to see if it
has a driver for your BarcoMed display controller
The BarcoMed Product Installation Wizard’s welcome screen will
now be displayed. By default all the software on the BarcoMed
Software CD will be selected (figure 10 on the previous page). For
the initial installation we recommend that you install all of the
software. If you do not want to install a particular BarcoMed
Software product, deselect it by
clearing the checkbox next to it.
6. Click “Install” on the Wizard’s Welcome Screen to continue or
“Cancel” to exit the wizard.
Driver Installation
7. Click “Next” on the Display Driver Wizard’s Welcome Screen to
continue or “Cancel” to exit the Display Driver Wizard and return
to the Software Install Wizard.
The Device Selection Screen’s dialog box should show only
those devices physically installed and supported by the BarcoMed
display controller driver on your BarcoMed Software CD. If there
are no BarcoMed devices installed, or if Windows does not
recognize the installed devices, or if the driver on your BarcoMed
Software CD does not support the installed devices, the dialog
box will be empty, and the BarcoMed driver wizard will exit when
you click
“Finish” or “Cancel” . Select the device you want to
install and then click “Next” .
Caution: You can install the driver for only one type of BarcoMed
device at a time. If you have multiple types of BarcoMed devices
installed in your computer, you will need to rerun the installer to
install the drivers for the other devices.
If you select a device with an installed driver, the wizard will warn
you if the installed driver is newer than the one you are installing
(figure 12 below).

If you want to change your selection, click “OK” to continue and
then click “Back” on the next screen otherwise click “OK” .
