Safety instructions for commissioning and operation
Heating of the bath fluid
Ultrasonic energy heats the sonication fluid
(even without additional heating).
Do not fill flammable, explosive, non-aqueous liquids or azeotropic
mixtures into the bath (e.g. petrol, solvents).
Opening the cupboard doors
There are cables inside the appliance which are dangerous if damaged. Only
open the cabinet doors for repair and maintenance purposes.
Keep the
cabinet doors locked when the appliance is in operation. Disconnect the
mains plug before opening the cabinet door. Lock the cabinet doors and
keep the key protected from unauthorised access.
Hot surfaces and liquids
The heating works independently of the ultrasound. The heating always
switches on again automatically after the bath temperature drops below
the set temperature if the heating function is selected. Depending on the
duration of the sonication, baskets and objects and bath may be hot.
Let heated items cool down in the basket before removing them.
