5N. TYRE MAINTENANCE
TYRE ROTATION :
To avoid uneven wear of tyres and to prolong their life, rotate the tyres as illustrated. Tyres should be
rotated as recommended in the periodic maintenance schedule. After rotation, adjust front and rear tyre
pressures to the specification listed.
Regularly check the tread depth using the tyre’s built in tread wear indicator(location indicated by TWI mark
on sidewall). Replace tyres if tread wear indicators are visible.
Note:
Life and wear pattern of tyres depends on tyre pressure, wheel alignment, wheel balancing, tyre rotation,
etc. It also largely depends on vehicle speed, load carried, usage, driving habits, road conditions, tyre
quality, etc.
Caution:
Use of tyres of a size other than originally fitted to your vehicle may cause interference between tyres
and vehicle components & result in damage to tyre & vehicle. Do not drive on worn or damaged tyres.
Warning:
Oil or grease on the tires reduces the road grip. Clean the same from the tires using suitable cleaning
agent.
