(I) Disassembling steps

1. Take off left rear wheel, rear wheel joint

plate, right rear wheel, rear brake hub, rear

brake, and rear axle.

Refer to “Disassembly of rear wheel/rear

brake and rear wheel axle” section in this

chapter.

2. Take off lower cap (2) of gear case.

3. Take off the rear driving gear case sub-as

sembly (1)

Refer to “Dischargment of rear driving gear

case sub-assembly and driving shaft” section

of this chapter.

4. Take off split pin 3.2x24 (1) , washer 12

(2) and rear shock absorber pin shaft (3) .

CAUTION:

When taking off rear shock absorber pin shaft

(3) , hold rear wheel fork so that rear wheel

fork does not drop.
