DIPSWITCH SW1 - NORMAL MODE DIAGNOSTIC PORT
CHARACTERISTICS
Dipswitch SW1 is an eight-pole dipswitch that enables ROM
checksumming, enables NIS handshake time-outs, enables the
normal mode diagnostic port, sets the normal mode diagnostic
port communication rate, and sets the normal mode diagnostic
port data characteristics. Table
shows the pole settings for
normal operation (pole one of dipswitch SW4 set to zero). Table
shows the pole settings for hardware diagnostic operation
(pole one of dipswitch SW4 set to one). Record the dipswitch
SW1 settings in the space provided.
