The ambient temperature must not exceed max. 40°C. Take note of the data on
the rating plate. Non compliance will void any warranty in case of motor failure.
Pumps with A.C. motors are equipped with a winding breaker contact as
standard.
The motor is electronically protected against overload.
The motors are built according to thermal class F, the ribs may achieve
temperatures up to 70°C.
Caution: The use of pumps for swimming pools and the restricted area
around them is only permitted if pumps are installed in accordance with
DIN/VDE 0100 part 702. Please consult your licensed electrician!
The supply circuit has to be protected with a fault current contactor with a
nominal fault current of I
ΔN
≤ 30 mA.
Dependent on the standard in operation, electrical cable type HO5RN–F,
HO7RN-F must be used. In addition the minimum permissible cross section
must be adjusted to take account of the motor power and length of the supply
cable.
5.4 Connecting to external switch contacts
The pump features a 4-wire cable with open ends for external control.
The cable is assigned for the individual speeds as follows:
These cables have to be wired potential-free. The contacts may only be
switched individually, otherwise the required speed will not be activated.
Note
The motor speed can be selected using the hand switches or via external
switch contact. The actuated switch contact and the speed thus assigned are
activated. The external circuit is the priority circuit, switching can no longer be
done using the manual switches.
