Please note that the Powercon connectors are not 'hot-swappable'. This means that the connectors may not
be pulled out of the chassis if the cable is still connected to a power output socket.
The IntenZ CB600 is equipped with a fuse for its own components. The power input of the device is directly
linked to the power output of the device.
XLR input and output
The IntenZ CB600 is equipped with 3-pin and 5-pin XLR chassis connectors. The DMX input is usually
connected with a XLR cable that has a locking mechanism so it can not be pulled from the chassis easily.
Usually the locking part has to be pressed and held to unlock the mechanism. When doing this, the
connector can be removed from its socket.
Fans and cooling
The IntenZ CB600 is a modern product and features temperature controlled fans. This means that the four
fans of the unit will only activate if the temperature of the LED PCB becomes too high. In practice, the fans
will only turn on if the device is used on full output for a longer period of time. This makes the CB600
interesting for applications where background noise needs to be prevented as much as possible.
