Installation and connection requirements

The IntenZ CB600 is a versatile product and can be used in many ways. To use this device as intended and
to be sure that the product is used in a safe way, the following requirements must be met during the setup,
installation and connection of the device.

Standing installation

The IntenZ CB600 can not directly be installed on a platform without proper mounting gear. Usually, lots of
light effects have built in rubber feet so they can also be installed on a DJ booth. However, the CB600 has
large heatsinks on the rear of the unit. If the device would be installed standing, it would fall over. If a
standing position is desired, the U-bracket must be installed and bolted to the surface it is mounted on. The
surface must be a solid material like a wooden beam or concrete, in order to keep the CB600 in place. For
fixed installations this is mostly possible.

Hanging installation

The CB600 can be installed in several ways. Included hanging brackets are included in delivery, which can
be mounted on top of the unit, next to the coupling hardware. This way, hooks such as G-clamps, trigger
clamps or half couplers can be installed.

It is also possible to use the U-shaped bracket, which is mounted on the side of the device. This bracket
makes precise aiming of this fixture possible, for example when used as a blinder effect in a club or on a
festival.

The CB600 can not directly be suspended from a ceiling, wall or beam as its weight is too large. It is however
possible to mount multiple CB600 fixtures to a truss system capable of holding the weight of the CB600 load.

The CB600 are equipped with hardware which makes coupling of multiple CB600 fixtures possible, thus
creating a wall of LED-pixels. For this application, the included tool is used. The panels are positioned next to
each other and with the tool, the hook from one panel attaches to the panel hooks next to it. Please pay
close attention to the positioning of each attached panel, as the devices must all be positioned in the same
direction to achieve  optimal effects.

Please note that every suspended installed CB600 needs to be secured to its main structure with safety
cables. The provided safety eyebolts of the CB600 can be used for this and are positioned in the top corners
of the rear panel.

When the units are used in a matrix setup, every fixture needs to be secured separately to ensure safety. If
any of the primary mounting hardware fails, the unit can not fall. Each unit should not be able to fall more
than 30 cm and the used safety cable must be able to hold at least 10x the weight of the load it protects.

No more than 4 units may be installed vertically below each other. When doing so, the smaller U-shaped
brackets must be installed on top of the upper unit. Trigger couplers or likewise clamps, capable of holding at
least 10x the weight of the unit, can be used to mount the matrix to a truss system.

The fixtures can be coupled as shown on the next page.
