1.1 MAIN FEATURES

Macrotel X1 and Macrotel X2 are entirely digital telephone hybrids with DSP (Digital Signal Processor) audio processing,
expressly studied to offer high audio performance for the broadcast market. Macrotel X1 manages an analog

two-wire

PSTN/POTS line, while Macrotel X2 manages up to two POTS/PSTN lines. There is the option to connect both models
(each line)  to  an  external  GSM  modem  (PHX-GSM).  The  digital  audio processing  system  offers high  performance  and
excellent  send/receive  separation.  Both  Macrotel  X  models  can  be  controlled  from  the  front  panel,  from  PC  using
dedicated software, via web page and using GPIO and TCP/IP type commands.

1.2 USE OF THIS MANUAL

This manual is for the Macrotel X1 and Macrotel X2. Some functions may not be available on the Macrotel
X1 model.
