USE OF THE SOFTWARE HYBRID REMOTER

Start page of the control software of Macrotel X1 and Macrotel X2

12.1 ACCESS VIA USB AND SERIAL CONNECTION

To operate on the Macrotel, after having allocated the TCP/IP port values
using the Hybrid Address Manager it is necessary to use the Axel
Telephone Hybrid Remoter program by clicking the special icon. The
window below shows the connection between Macrotel and the PC via the
Virtual USB serial port.

As can be seen a USB

COM9

port connection is active with the PC in use.

The USB and the serial connections are the fastest ones to set up;
connect the Pin-to-Pin serial cable or the A-B type USB cable, both
supplied in the Macrotel X box and click

CONNECT

; the control panel for

the management of the device will appear.

Click Connect to establish a communication between the Hybrid Remoter and Macrotel; all the information concerning
the device’s memory, status and operating mode is displayed. The control panel will change format and display all the
necessary controls to operate the device. The various controls are explained in detail in the next chapters.
