SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE
1.
Place the MASTER LOAD switch to the OFF position.
NOTE
After running a load test, it is preferred procedure to remove residual
heat from the Load Bank by allowing the fans/blowers to operate for
a few minutes after load is removed. This procedure may guard
operating personnel from possible burn injuries.
2.
Press the STOP pushbutton to turn off the fans/blowers.
3.
Place the POWER ON switch to the OFF position, and other switches on the control panel
should be turned OFF.
4.
Shut down the power source/sources.
5.
Disconnect the Load Bank from the control and fan/blower power sources.
OPERATING PROCEDURE (Automatic Controller)
This option is supplied by others. The Load Bank is provided with pilot relays only to interface with
control. All safeties must be interlocked with Load Bank operation.
