C A U T I O N
The operation of the fans/blowers is vital to the safe operation of this
Load Bank. When the FAN/BLOWER switch is turned on, all of the
AIR FAILURE lights will come on until the fans/blowers accelerate
up to their operating speed and the FAULT RESET pushbutton is
pressed. If the load elements are energized when the fans/blowers are
not operating, the Load Bank will burn up. If any of the AIR
FAILURE indicator lights stays on after the FAULT RESET
pushbutton is pressed, shut down the Load Bank and do not operate
the unit until the problem is corrected. Refer to the SAFETY
CONSIDERATIONS section of this manual.

C A U T I O N
In the high voltage mode, never exceed 13,800 volts (configuration
jumpers J1-J48 removed) as this will cause the Load Bank to
overheat. (See Peak Load Voltage Rating Addendum sheet.)
In the medium voltage mode, when the configuration jumpers
(J1-J48) are in place, never exceed 4570 volts as this will cause the
Load Bank to overheat, exceed load wiring current carrying capacity,
and exceed rated thermal limits of insulation system.

With the MASTER LOAD switch in the OFF position, energize power source under test.
Check for proper phase sequence.

The resistive loading is selected by toggle switches, using any one or combination of the
toggle switches to make up a given load.

By placing the MASTER LOAD switch to the ON position, the preselected load will be
applied to the power source.

Any load step can be added or removed as required while the MASTER LOAD switch
closed (ON).

To remove the load, open the MASTER LOAD switch by placing it in the OFF position.
