18.3.1

Special Tool (15221)

To remove or replace the transducer and cross assembly a special tool, part
number 15221, is required.

Removing a transducer

1

Disconnect the transducer cable from the CX9/A702.

2

Lift the weighplate clear of the housing.

3

Undo the four instrument head screws securing the top housing to the
base. Lift the top housing clear.

4

Using a thin–bladed screwdriver remove the two cross assembly
retainers from their slots. Insert the screwdriver in the slots of the cross
assembly retainers, tap the adhesive strips and base retainers from the
base moulding.
