Entering service mode using the DIL switch

To enter service mode using the DIL switch carry out the following:

What You Do

What You See

1

Switch the machine on.

2

Insert one of the keys in the keyswitch
and turn it fully counter-clockwise (that
is: to the first OPerator position).

3

Set switch 2 on DIL switch SW4 to the
ON position. Access is via the printer
compartment: through aperture in
printer spine on CX20/CX30; through
aperture in chassis, adjacent to the
mains ON/OFF switch, on CX34. If
necessary, remove printer cassette (if
fitted) .

CONFIGURATION

To exit service mode set switch 2 on
DIL switch SW4 to the OFF position.
