Data In/Out
This menu allows you to select the devices to be operated at
the DATA IN/OUT connector. With a default setting of "Auto-
Select", the SC Master 6/16 will only detect devices

or a
matrix keypad.
Any other
devices must be chosen manually. This setting has only be
introduced for compatibility reasons. If no device is connected
to the DATA IN/OUT connector, you should choose "Key-
boadMatrix".

KeyboardMatrix
...for a keypad or any switching contacts
wired in a matrix. This type of wiring allows up to 16 con-
tacts or keys to be connected. In such a matrix arrange-
ment, however, only one key press can be evaluated at a
time. If two or more contacts are activated simultaneously,
only the first contact in the matrix is evaluated.

OpenColl16 Out
...for the "Open Collector 16" Adapter.
This extension features 16 open-collector switch outputs.
Although this adapter has been replaced by "Open Collec-
tor 16 Remote" we have kept this setting for compatibility
reasons.

OpenColl16 Rmt
...for the "Open Collector 16 Remote"
Adapter. This adapter has 16 open-collector switch out-
puts and an additional 8 remote inputs. The 8 remote in-
puts are run in parallel mode, which means that simulta-
neous activation of several contacts is also evaluated.

OpenCollAnalog
...for the OC Analog Module with 16
open-collector outputs and 8 analog outputs (0 – 10 V).
This module can only run in DLC mode.

Slider40
...for a special input interface with 40 faders.
