Structure of the card
player
General
SC MASTER 6/16, in one tiny little unit, offers highly sophisti-
cated control and sound technology. The audio components it
contains are a card player with up to 16 channels, correspond-
ing to 8 stereo channels. Every stereo channel has separate
volume and sound control. Moreover, there is also a master
volume and sound control.
MP3 Card Player
The card player uses CompactFlash Cards as storage me-
dium, just like those used in digital cameras. For CF cards no
moving mechanism is required, so that the card player is
virtually wearfree.
Before saving the audio data onto CF card, they are com-
pressed by an MP3 encoder in Wings Platinum. The possible
playing time depends on the memory capacity of the card and
the extent of data compression. On a CF card with a memory
