MPEG Audio Layer-3 (MP3)

MP3 is a very popular audio format on the Internet. It is a lower-bandwidth format than MP2
audio but is still not ideal for modem streaming. MP3 can also be used in combination with
video in some output formats, such as QuickTime.

File Suffix

Enable File Suffix to automatically add the default Windows file type suffix to the output file
for cross-platform compatibility. You can select and change the suffix if needed.

Original copy

— Indicates that this is the original copy of a file.

Private use

— Indicates that the file is intended for private, not public, use.

RealMedia

RealMedia is a streaming-media architecture developed by RealNetworks. Real 10 is most
appropriate for network delivery of audio, video and other media types, such as text and Flash
animations. It is less suitable for CD-ROM or DVD delivery due to the more demanding CPU
requirements at higher bandwidths.

File Suffix

Enable File Suffix to automatically add the default Windows .rm file type suffix to the output
file for cross-platform compatibility. You can select and change the suffix if needed.
