Options and Weights
When these options are fitted the mass of the unladen vehicle is increased by the mass shown
against the item of equipment and maximum authorised payload is reduced by a corresponding
mass.

RECOMMENDED TYPE PRESSURES
For tyre pressures, refer to the base vehicle instruction booklet. Tyre pressures may need to be
adjusted to a small degree from these figures according to the vehicle payload. For all other
automotive matters you should refer to the base vehicle instruction book.

WATER
SYSTEM
Water Tank A 75 litre (16.5 gallon) fresh water tank is fitted. A triple diaphragm water
pump and water heater provides hot and cold water for both the shower head and sink taps. The
water system is external filling using non-toxic semi rigid hose. The triple diaphragm water pump
is fitted with an over-ride switch in the electrical control panel, and the pump is protected with a

amp fuse.
A
60 litre (13.2 gallon) waste water tank is fitted as standard. Note: The water
pump must not exceed 12 psi rating when the Carver Cascade is fitted

GAS SYSTEM
General Either two 4.5 Kg or 3.9 Kg Calor, or two Camping Gas cylinders may be fitted in
the vented compartment situated at the base of the wardrobe. Metric copper pipe with brass
fittings is used for all gas appliances, each of which has its own isolator tap. Appliances are
designed for use with Butane at 28 mb (11.2") water gauge, or with Propane at 37 mb (14.8")
water gauge.

The 12 volt electrical system is fed through the second battery (66 amp/hr capacity) which
is co-located with the vehicle battery under the bonnet. (For access to both the vehicle and
second battery, refer to the Base Vehicle Handbook). A 240 volt mains hook-up is fitted
for the battery charger, refrigerator (mains operation) and 240 volt mains light.
