The Authonet firewall can also be reset to factory defaults using the reset button as shown in the
figure below.

Admin controls: Upgrade Firmware, Backup Settings

Firmware updates are released regularly for the firewall by Authonet. The procedure for installing
a firmware upgrade is first download the file to the administrators computer, then upload to the
firewall. Click on Admin Controls, Upgrade/Backup to see the screen below.

It is advisable to save the firewall settings once configured. The settings can be restored at any
time, and will save a lot of time if the firewall is accidentally reset to factory defaults.

Download the upgrade
firmware file to the

computer using the link
obtained from the
Authonet web site
Ensure the version is
newer then the current
firmware version then

upload

Reset Button

Power up the unit. Wait until the admin can login

Hold the button for 15 seconds. Wait for the unit to

reboot
