Remove all cardboard protection from inside the firebox and the two cross logs.
Note: All other logs in the firebox have been preset in the factory and their location
should not be changed. Check that logs have not been damaged in transit and the rear
log is hard up against the rear of the firebox at the base and at the top.

Carefully remove wrapping from right and left hand cross log.
5.
Prior to positioning of right and left hand cross logs inspect front and rear burner for
particle or dust placement on top of burners. If any particles or dust is visible on top of
the front and rear burners remove particles before placing logs into position.
Note: Ceramic logs are fragile AS are the hot surface igniters underneath them a n d
need to be handled with care at all times.
6.
Position left hand cross log No (5) in position as shown in diagram on page 11.
7.
Position right hand cross log No (7) in position as shown in diagram on page 11.
8.
After re-fitting main door re-fit bottom grill. Please take care to ensure no wires are
pinched or removed from their plugged positions.
