Key Functions
These are the basic functions of each key.

Soft keys
- perform the functions indicated by the text immediately over them (on
the bottom line of the display) which changes time by time

Navigation keys
down or up
In Standby mode, they scroll through the phonebook entries. In menu mode, scroll through
the menu options. During a call, adjust the volume. When editing text, move the cursor up
and down
left INT or right
In Standby mode, the right navigation key allows you to access the Call by Call function
(see
chapter Call by Call on page 130
) and the left navigation key INT activates the inter-
com communication (see
). When editing text, they move the
cursor to the left or right

End/On/Off key
– if held pressed, turns the phone on or off. In menu mode, briefly
press it to cancel your input and return to standby mode. During a call, briefly press it to end
the call

Dial keypad – Enters numbers, letters and some special characters

Call key
– makes telephone calls and answers them. If pressed during a call, activates
the speaker phone for handsfree operation

SMS key
– Allows you to quickly access the SMS menu
