Power Save Mode
Once you activated the power save mode, your handset will operate in two different steps. The first
step will be activated after 15 seconds in which you don't press any key or any operation like power
on/off or put the handset on the base unit. During step 1, the keypad backlight turns off and the LCD
screen became dim. The second step will be activated after additional 15 seconds without any activ-
ity and only if the handset is not in the base unit. During step 2 the LCD screen becomes dark and
it seems the handset is off. The normal operation of the phone is automatically restored as soon as
you press a key.
The power save mode allows to extend the battery duty and is set by default to ON. If you prefer to
disable it:

If you set power save mode to OFF the talk time and standby time will be reduced

Press repeatedly the navigation keys to
choose 4.Contrast, then press the SELECT
soft key.
Level 5
SELECT
Press repeatedly the navigation keys to
choose among the 8 available contrast levels,
then press the SELECT soft key.
Press the end/on/off key to return to Standby
mode.

Press the navigation keys to choose between
1.OFF and 2.ON, then press the SELECT soft
key.
Press the end/on/off key to return to Standby
mode.
