You can enter the same terminal number in more than one handset.
If you do not enter the terminal number, the handset is automatically set to the terminal number 0.
The use of the terminal numbers (Sub Address) is network dependent and currently not available
in Germany. The use with an Auerswald-PBX is currently not available too.
Setting and Removing the Password
If you have set the sub address, you can also increase the security by preventing an unauthorized
person from accessing your private messages by setting a password to access the SMS menu. To
set the password:

Press repeatedly the navigation keys to
choose 6.SMS Settings, then press the
SELECT soft key.
SELECT
Press repeatedly the navigation keys to
choose 3.Sub Address, then press the
SELECT soft key.

Enter the number using the numeric keys. You
can enter up to 24 digits.
Press the OK soft key to save the setting.
To return to Standby mode, press the end/on/
off key.

Press the SMS key to display the SMS menu
items. Or, press the MENU soft key to display
the main menu items, then select 1.SMS by
pressing the SELECT soft key.

Press repeatedly the navigation keys to
choose 4.Set Password, then press the
SELECT soft key.

Enter the four-digits PIN you want to use, and
press the SELECT soft key.
(Removing the Password: Clear the password
by keeping pressed the CLEAR soft key, then
press the SELECT soft key.)

Enter the PIN again to confirm it, and press the
SELECT soft key.
To return to Standby mode, press the end/on/
off key.
