Potential-free contact
The control unit has a contact that is designed as a changeover
contact, e.g. for connecting external signal transmitters.
If the alarm contact is activated (= ON in Service Mode [p. 18])
and the mains voltage is connected, the change-over contact is
switched to NO* in the fault-free state. In the event of a fault (also
in the event of a power failure) and manually in manual mode, the
contact switches to NC*.
Signal devices must therefore be connected to NC and the power
supply to C/CO*.
If a separate alarm message is required in the event of a power
failure, a power source independent of the power supply for the
control unit is required.
