Accessing the Web User Interface (WebUI)
To access the WebUI:
1. Ensure that your computer is connected to the same network as the Synapse system.
Your computer may already be connected to the network through the PC port on the
back of a Deskset.
2. On the Deskset, press
MENU
and then
4
to display
Deskset Information
.
3. On the
Deskset Information
screen, find the IP Address.
4. On your computer, open an Internet browser.
5. Type the Deskset IP address in the browser address bar, and press
ENTER
on your
computer keyboard.
6. A
Login
page appears.
7. Under
Login Name
, log on as a user by typing your extension number.
8. Enter your password if you have created one (see
“Setting and Changing Your
Password” on page 122
). Otherwise, leave the password blank.
9. Click .
You can create or change your user password once you are logged on.
The
Basic Settings
page shown in
Figure 40 on page 129
appears.

Changing a setting does not instantly apply the new value. Clicking
saves and applies all changes on that page.
