Auto Attendant Voice Prompts
To record Auto Attendant voice prompts:

1. Perform the procedure shown in Figure 74.
You need to identify an extension from which
to record the voice prompts so you can use the
telephone microphone for recording.
The selected extension will ring. Lift the
Handset to hear recording instructions.
2. Press
when you are done. You
return to the Auto Attendant Menu Editor so that
you can add actions to the menu.
Here is an example of an opening daytime script
which could be part of the Opening Day Menu:
“This is the Widget Company. If you know your
party's extension, dial it now. For a list of
salespeople, press 1. For customer service, press 3.
To hear a recording of our hours, press 9. To hear
our company directory, press 0."
Then if the caller presses
1
, they may hear, “For
North America Press
1
, For Asia, Press
3
." When
you record this menu,
you might want to call it the
“sales team” menu, which could be used in the
Opening Day Menu.
