How to Search for a Partial Match
The Partial Match field allows you to search for a partial match on any entry in the
Value or To Value fields. Searching for a partial match is similar to using UNIX
wildcards.
To search for a partial match:
1. Enter the string you want to match in the Value or To Value fields.
Hint: The more information you enter, the more specific the search.
2. Click on the partial match check box.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each partial match.
4. Click on Run Report.
How to Format the Report
Report Builder generates reports in one of the following table formats:

This example shows how you can combine the types of matches.
Comments:

Both instances of Field Name are the same (Maintenance Name.)

Report Builder searches for
— An exact match for Maintenance Name = DIG-LINE or Maintenance
Name = PDMODULE
— A partial match for the range of dates between 9/27 and 10/13
