Additional service log settings
When expert mode is activated, you will see additional properties in the “System Log Settings” table
under the menu item “System Log”.
The columns Value 1 - 4 each refer to the syslog server, the trap receiver and the trap community, as
well as the write and read rights granted via SNMP.

The following additional properties are displayed in detail:
Syslog server:

Syslog filter:
by ticking the corresponding checkbox, you can define which events will be
logged in the service log.
SNMP trap receiver:
define the trap receiver.
SNMP trap community:
define the trap community here.
SNMP trap filter:
define the trap filter.
SNMP access:
activate the radio button “on” to allow access to SNMP objects. activate the radio
button “off” to deactivate access.
SNMP GET/SET community:
enter the group of persons authorised for access in the input field
(e.g. “public”: generally accessible).
Access permission:
tick the checkbox “Read” to allow SNMP objects to be queried. tick the
checkbox “Write” to allow SNMP objects to be set.
SNMP authentication failure trap:
activate the radio button “on” to switch on the trap
in the event of access using a false community. Activate the radio button “off” to deactivate this.
